Heart vs. Mind

There is always a conflict between heart and mind. weather in a life partner, career, money spending, investing, etc. your heart is weak to make decisions. heart always follows short-term gratification which is mostly wrong. so here we can discuss the difference between them.

The brain changes continually as a result of our experiences. Experiences produce physical changes in the brain either through new neural connections or through the generation of new neurons. Studies suggest that the brain can change even during the day. This means that the anatomy of the brain varies from individual to individual. Even identical twins with identical genes don't have identical brains. They have had different life experiences. Experiences are the reason that all individuals are unique. There are no individuals with the same upbringing, nutrition, education, social stamping, physical, social and cultural setting. This creates different convictions, habits, values, and characters. People behave differently because differences in their environment cause different life experiences. This is why it is sometimes hard to understand other people's behavior. To do that, we must adapt to their environment and share their experiences. This is often impossible.

The heart always follows pleasure, short-term gratification, and negative emotions (like envy, anger, etc.) heart is not trained by anything like experience. heart try to develop neurotransmitter. It is the neurotransmitter dopamine that is being released. Dopamine is involved in the brain's reward and motivation system and is an addiction. High levels of dopamine are believed to increase feelings of pleasure and relieve pain. Another neurotransmitter is serotonin. Serotonin is linked with mood and emotion. Too much stress can lead to low levels of serotonin and low levels are associated with anxiety and depression. What happens when we take an antidepressant drug? The drug increases the amount of serotonin in our brain. The drug mimics the structure of serotonin. Antidepressants don't make us happy; they just treat the state of unhappiness. Observe that even if neurotransmitters and the drugs that affect them alter our mental functions, they are part of a complicated system of interactions between molecules, cells, synapses, and other systems including life experiences and environmental factors.

Overall, we can train our brain not our heart by knowledge or experience but when your heart and brain will in one direction then it is a deadly combination. you will Spark. when we see any sexy boy/girl hearts always give the wrong signal. but we can manage by our brain. Our brains train by experience. that's why experience matters a lot whether in a relationship, career anything. you can use for rational decision

FAANG

This is a popular short name for the world's largest companies (F=facebook, A=Apple, A=Amazon, N=Netflix, G=google). I believe that they are not providing us basic needs in life. If we stay away from that, then we can save a lot of money, time, and attention, and, more importantly, we can save our economy.                 Facebook is  much more costly as attention and time. Amazon is costly as extra shopping or marketing. Google is costly as retained knowledge. and Apple is expensive for our wallets. Netflix can be expensive at time .

Loss aversion

People always tend to put their money in safe investment brackets like bank accounts, FDs, etc. They always feel safe with those investments. This phenomenon is called loss aversion. As per Investopedia, " Loss aversion in behavioral economics refers to a phenomenon where a real or potential loss is perceived by individuals as psychologically or emotionally more severe than an equivalent gain. For instance, the pain of losing $100 is often far greater than the joy gained in finding the same amount. Let me give one example of how this phenomenon works in real life. a man who wants to earn twice as much as an FD (roughly 10-12%) Put 1 lakh RS. in three stocks for the next two years. One stock doubled within two years and the other two have generated minus 20% returns over the next two years. Overall returns should be around 10% CAGR over 3 lakh RS. But the pain of two investments that don't provide any returns over two years is much more than two stocks that double within a sh...
