GHCL

This is the stock I enter when I find a cheap valuation and the only company I understand because I had done internships in the chemical industry as a process engineer(circle of competence matter). GHCL has two main businesses: textiles and other basic chemicals(understanding business matters). Frankly, I didn't know that I will make that type of return within one and half years(process mattes). so what I learn is that your multibagger stock is your wonderful journey which I enjoyed with GHCL. people always want that type of return with magic, even if magic happens to you one time there is no guarantee that it will last in the future. let's understand some triggers behind this stock.

Now you can find me a genius but I seriously have odds in favor with some hard work. As Nassim Nicolas telab says fooled by randomness. there is always a process behind the purchase of the stock but I didn't. I purchased it because I found it cheap and some CAPEX happening there. The first trigger happened when found that there is more demand for soda ash because of green energy. solar power is a great source of green energy. soda ash is the main raw material behind making solar glass. The second trigger is their textile business. The US has banned all cotton imports from china which is a big trigger for the textile industry. whatever we wear is made of cotton which is naturally available and second, we can produce artificially from crude oil, almost $268B market for Cotton which us import from china. the third trigger is special situations where they are doing a demerger of their textile and soda ash business to unlock value. (when one business has more margin and another has less than market won't give to more valuation but when you demerge then value unlock).

Overall, there is nothing special but process matters. nobody knows this stock gives me that type of returns overtimes, if we imagine that the push of green energy and us cotton ban didn’t happen then I had never averaged this stock on the higher side and made more money

Heart vs. Mind

Experiences produce physical changes in the brain either through new neural connections or through the generation of new neurons. Studies suggest that the brain can change even during the day. This means that the anatomy of the brain varies from individual to individual. Even identical twins with identical genes don't have identical brains. They have had different life experiences. Experiences are the reason that all individuals are unique. There are no individuals with the same upbringing, nutrition, education, social stamping, physical, social and cultural setting. This creates different convictions, habits, values, an...

Unveiling the Multi-bagger Myth

In the world of investing, the allure of multi-bagger stocks is undeniable. These stocks have the potential to deliver exceptional returns and create substantial wealth for investors. While conventional wisdom often highlights certain financial metrics as indicators of multi-bagger potential, a deeper understanding reveals that what most people know isn't worth knowing. In this blog, we will challenge the common beliefs surrounding multi-baggers and explore the factors that truly drive their success. 1. Looking Beyond High ROCE/ROE While high Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) and Return on Equity (ROE) are considered important financial indicators, they do not guarantee multi-bagger status. Instead, it is crucial to identify companies that have the ability to consistently improve their ROCE and ROE over time. 2. Rethinking Debt/Equity Ratios Low Debt/Equity ratios are often seen as a positive sign, indicating financial stability. However, merely focusing on reducing debt levels doe...
